I admit, the first 2 sections were intense for me on the Financials of a DD. My ‘specialty’ is HR.
Do you have any quick references, or overview materials that you use or you can recommend for Non-Finance people involved in M&A conversations during the Financial DD? Some quick to access terminology sheets, or books that you found helpful?

    Hi Kristina,

I would suggest subscribing to Derek Advul’s M&A Newsletter at http://www.mnamindset.beehiiv.com. His newsletters provide some great infographics and terminology that I think you will find are exactly what you are looking for. The website includes his prior newsletters so there is a lot of content there from the start.

Hi Kristina! I am actually in the opposite position as you, my ‘speciality’ is in finance, so the world of HR Due Diligence was completely new to me. A resource that I found helpful was actually Substack! There are a few writers on there with specialties in the realm of due diligence that provide insightful feedback.

I’m in the legal profession, and while the finance side of M&A can be challenging, I’m genuinely enjoying the learning journey. The deeper I go, the more I appreciate how integral finance, commercial strategy, and valuation are leading to successful transactions.
