Dedicated vs. Shared Team Members

From your functional areas, have you had dedicated vs. shared team members participate in your integrations? Which has worked better for you?

We have both and it seems that dedicated team members are typically out SMEs and have significant experience. However, a highly trained shared team member is just as effective as long as they can commit the time. They are also more flexible and can move on or off integrations, as needed.
